【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefinesthedatastructuresandprotocol(s)usedinintelligenttransportsystem(ITS)applicationsforthedeliveryandupdateofmap-relateddatafromServiceCentre(SC)tousers[(In-vehicleSystems(IVS)].ThisInternationalStandardalsospecifiesthemessagegenerationprotocolsintheServiceCentreandthemessagereceivingprotocolsintheIn-vehicleSystems.ThemapcentrespecifiedinthisInternationalStandardrepresentsthesupplierofmapdataandtheServiceCentreprovidesdataandservicestouserdevices.ThetermprotocolasusedinthisInternationalStandardisatemporalsequenceofmap-relateddatainteractionsbetweensystemcomponentsthatimplementmap-relateddatadeliveryandupdate.Thedeliveryandupdateofmap-relateddatarelyonexistingcommunicationtechnology.Theprotocolsassociatedwithcommunicationtechnology,andtheotherapplicationcontrolprotocolsandnon-map-relateddata,forexampleimagestodisplayindependentofthemapdatabasesuchasHTMLimages,areoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard.DefinitionsofsecuritymechanismsandbusinesstransactionmechanismsarealsooutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard.Figure1belowillustratesthescopeofthisInternationalStandard.
