【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesanempiricaltestprocedureforassessingtheresistanceofacoatingofpaint,varnishorrelatedproducttocrackingand/ordetachmentfromametalorplasticssubstratewhensubjectedtobendingroundacylindricalmandrelunderstandardconditions.Foramulti-coatsystem,eachcoatcanbetestedseparatelyorthecompletesystemcanbetested.Themethodspeicfiedcanbecarriedout-eitherasa"pass/fail"test,bycarryingoutthetestwithasinglespecifiedsizeofmandrel,toassesscompliancewithaparticularrequirement;-orbyrepeatingtheprocedureusingsuccessivelysmallermandrelstodeterminethediameterofthefirstmandreloverwhichthecoatingcracksand/orbecomesdetachedfromthesubstrate.Twotypesofapparatusarespecified,type1beingappropriateforuseontestpanelsofthicknessupto0.3mm,andtype2foruseontestpanelsofthicknessupto1.0mm.Bothtypesofapparatushavebeenfoundtogivesimilarresultswiththesamecoating,butnormallyonlyonewillbeusedfortestingagivenproduct.
